At 4:30 this morning my dear older cat, who sounds more like a duck than a cat, decided to start "quacking" at me while I tried to sleep. Getting back to sleep was impossible. Just as the sun was peeping over the horizon, I grabbed my camera and went for a stroll around the property.
The "back yard" was still quite dark...
I headed out to the fields. The daylilies are in full bloom and looked quite fetching in the early dawn light...
All sorts of puffy clouds from the front of the house...
Time for coffee. I'm glad Angela woke me up...
Have a wonderful weekend...

Adrienne...Those photos are spectacular! I enlarged them on my screen so I could see them better. WOWSERS. It even looks a little like New England. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing! Susan
Susan - thank you (except you could see all the weeds and the undone pond when you enlarge. Sigh...
Your darling teacup card is on my desk right in front of my keyboard and so I think of you every day.
ooooo...that coffee pick looks so, sooooooo yummy ;) Very nice pictures!
Hi Adrienne! Good to see you're back! Wow, your property is so gorgeous. What an awesome place to live with mountains in the distance. I'll bet it's so peaceful there. It reminds me of vacations I've taken out west. What a dream come true to live there.
Oh, I used Disc plate hangers on the trays, since they're so light weight. And I added a tiny piece of sticky stuff (I don't know the name) to the bottom back to keep them from banging when the door is opened.
What an awesome picture of steaming coffee. I'm glad you're back!!
Gorgeous pictures. Aren't you glad you didn't move? No where but "here" would we get those views.
Beautiful and peaceful morning!
