Feeling Rich

Feeling Rich Friday

Vitabath makes me feel rich. I started using Vitabath about 30 years ago.  I only use the original Spring Green scent, which people either love or hate. To me it smells like a pine forest (it's a combination of pine and patchouli.) I'm sure others think it smells like PineSol.

Vitabath was developed by skincare specialists in Europe over 40 years ago.  I bought my first little bottle at the new Saks Fifth Avenue store in Houston and was instantly hooked.

My husband refuses to use anything else, and so we dip deep into our budget to make sure we have our Vitabath. I usually get mine from Drugstore.com My last order was for a GIANT  128 oz bottle when it was on sale. We should be good for a couple of years.

They have other scents available but we'll probably always use the Spring Green. I am tempted to try a small bottle of their new Plus for extra dry skin.  The fragrance of the Plus is jasmine, fresh violet, and soft white mush musk, which sounds pretty yummy.

I'll be back after breakfast with and update and some pics some of my accomplishments so far on my Ten Tasks in Ten Days Challenge.

I think the "Plus" sounds like it would smell very nice. I like the smell of Jasmine. I think maybe someday if I see that I might give it a try. I use Avon bubblebath right now, that smells like lavender and it makes lots of bubbles, but then I do turn the jets on when I take a bath. I do have to be careful about the jets going on my shoulder cause for some reason they hurt, when one would think they would help. Oh well, such is life.

God bless.

Avon's "Baked Apple Pie" scented Bubble bath is my potion in the tub this month.

I always wanted to try Vitabath. Looked so crisp and snazzy at those "High End" Saks and Neiman Marcus stores. When I was a kid I always thought it belonged in the bathroom of a lady who played tennis. Drove a Cadillac. It just seemed so expensive. How could I endulge? Now, with Adrienne's endorsement I just might give it a try. 8*)

my fave is bath and bodyworks vanilla warm sugar bubble bath...but I haven't had any in many years.

I was THRILLED when my MD told me post op last May that I needed to soak in a hot tub for 20-30 min 4 times a day!!! oh sweet heaven!!.........haven't done that in awhile...might need to again.

here's a hint ... place a folded towel in the bottom of your tub before you fill it. The wet folded towel makes a perfect cushion for your hiney and keeps away all the slip-n-slides. ;-)

I should have said a folded bath towel. hand towels won't cut it.
