Jane Austen movies at the library...

for free - which is best of all.  We don't have cable and dropped Netflix because most the movies are so lousy we were having trouble finding stuff to rent.

Last week I rented the 1981 BBC production of Sense and Sensibility at the library.  I found it thoroughly enjoyable.  While I love looking at the pretty clothes, I don't think they would be much fun to wear.

Have you checked your library lately for good movies?

I love all of the Jane Austin films and series. My library does have a good selection. I don't get many movies from Netflix but I do get lots of documentarys and all of the good HBO and British series. I just finished watching the last season of Dr. Martin which we didn't get on our public television ~ so good!

No, Adrienne, I haven't checked lately at the library but I need to. I do see a lot of wonderful movies on the Hallmark station so we don't get Netflix. Take care. Susan

Aha! Another Jane fan. The next time it is gloomy and wet, I am going to rent a few to sit by the fire with. Thanks for letting me know about their existence!
