It's hard to believe it's March 4th in North Idaho. I'm already well into my spring pruning and clean up. Daylily shipments can be started soon to those who aren't buried under snow.
Lilacs are budded out...
Tulips are up...
Violets are blooming...
Cleaning up and hauling manure to the cutting garden is already half done!
We don't buy manure or bark by the bag...
And our friends bring us pine needles for mulch...
I'll be starting seeds indoors soon and will be able to transfer them to my new upright cold frame that hubby built for me last fall. That's our old "slider" as the front door and the rest is free windows from our favorite small town window company. I have two large shelf units ready to waiting. I should be able to get 25 or so trays of plants in there.
Don't forget to check back later for Show and Tell Friday...

Wow, Adrienne. Spring IS starting to show its loveliness there. Not here. Not yet. Still wearing my warm scarf and coat. But spring will come. Take care! Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
Adrienne, I'm so glad you stopped by to see me and comment on my "hanging around". I have you listed in my blogroll, but I guess I never did sign up to follow, and I'm sorry. When you posted on my blog, it gave me the opportunity to check and thank goodness I did. I've actually visited your political blog before and have found it to be VERY interesting indeed. You are a woman of many talents and LOTS OF ENERGY!!!
pretty. our cold and wet winter may have killed the daylillies you sent me...there's no sign of them as of yet....I've got my fingers crossed.
gotta go prune that crepe myrtle now that it's pretty outside again.
